v2.9 The Grand Piano button is no longer Grand Piano Upper 1 and +1 octave Grand Piano on Upper 2 & 3. Now the Grand Piano is identical to the same Upper 2 & 3 registrations as 001 Grand Piano, Dark Pad & StringsEns2
I'm glad they have now fixed the Small Pipe tuning on B flat 5 which I requested even before v2.4
I'll see what other changes there might be and post them on the EK-50 Forum

Glad they got the small pipe sorted Peter ..... You waited a long time for that ....lol
Thanks for the details around piano ....there might be some other hidden stuff
it would have been good if they could have maybe fixed the problem with speaker EQ ... maybe not possible? Notice if you change the setting on the fly, the whole board mutes for a short period.
I waded through a bank of set lists and saved it how I want for that situation, but if I maybe use the board in a different place, I might want a different speaker eq and as soon as i change the set list the eq of course changes back.

Hello,Teo wrote:I send an email to korg support,if and when will answer I will post it here, about the new grand piano mode holding shift and gran piano
Greetings to everyone from Greece
- Added "GRAND PIANO" function to keep playing by pressing [SHIFT] and [GRAND PIANO] SW is like feature:
Patch / keyboard set change? Keep notes
This will disable changing / killing off notes when patch / keyboard set switching and note is pressed. This but not removes popping noise. After pressing SHIFT + "GRAND PIANO" you can activate or deactivate again (but it still switches to Grand Piano). No activation and deactivation information is displayed.
