Korg Volca Modular - No sound from speakers or headphones

So i've just booted up my Korg Volca Modular, which I've had for less than 4 months, and it won't make any sound at all.

The lights come on, everything else seems to be working, it plays sequences but there is no sound from the internal speakers or when I plug headphones into the output jack.

The volume control feels quite loose when turning, do I need to open it up and take a look? PLEASE HELP, my finals are four days away and I need my synth to be working for my work
