Scroll faster (instead of using the knob)

Post by Kyoto92 »

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know a way to scroll through values instead of using the knob?
Is there a shift+button that allows to values to go up/down by more than 1? e.g. I want to change to velocity to affect the EG from 0 to 70... Is there a way to raise the values faster than twisting the one knob? :?

Does spinning the knob faster increase the rate at which the values scroll, by that I mean faster than just the increase in knob rotation rate?

It does not. Spinning faster just makes the values go one by one faster.

That is weird not to have that, after all my Waldorf synths back in the 1990s had accelerating encoders.

The Wavestate value knob has an acceleration characteristic, but all the other knobs are 270 degree pots.
