Yes......there is a open wound that needs closing and I will give Korg a chance to close it...
let's hope they are managing this correctly now and they have called in the cavalry to help the development team (korg have the resources)...
I would imagine this will take a few passes to get right, so I will continue too wait with anticipation...

Nope that’s not what the press release said as far as I could determine . If you can fully edit the styles like the pa4x then that would make your new keyboard perform at least as good as the older one but this is NOT what the update said .
So the style editor is still looking like it’s deficient compared to the predecessor. Also there is no hint that the “fully featured “ sequencer will in fact be fully featured EVER…….
You will still have paid 100% of the full price of a new keyboard in June this year to wait 6 months for 70% of its actual functions with no hint as to when it’s full features may arrive ………
Makes you feel like a valued korg customer doesn’t it

IMO the list presented by Korg is not completed. Korg refered to those bugs which at this moment are probably fixed and being tested. Final list of changes/fixes will much longer and completed in accordance with statement "Additional OS refinements and stability.improvements"

I tend to agree, this announcement would suggest a working progress leading up to the published date.
Confidence level on the rise... December will tell how much has been completed and fixed.
This is excellent news for all PA5x owners.

Style editor is already the same as in Pa4X with just different visual interface but with bugs in Intro1/End1 , a missing
editing events page with utilities like quantize and groove mid creation lacking.
So by definition after addressing above critical issues , it will work as in Pa4X and maybe with more newer features.

It's not the first time! KORG did it many times in the past.
v1.1.0 will include the following confirmed new features and improvements:
- List view for all selections including sorting options
- Mixer shortcut tab for fast mixer access
- Improvements to the speed of Style selection
- Improvements to the speed of Style save functions
- Improvements to the speed of Song selection
- Song Book and Set List Improvements: (Save and change KBD-Sets, Intro-selection, Set-List speed, etc.)
- Pad-select buttons on Main-screen
- Pa4X SET import improvements
- Style-sync of two Styles using tempo-lock
- Drum Editor Improvements
- Addition of independent Vocal Processor levels (Reverb and Harmony as on Pa4X)
- Improved stability in Style Record Mode
- Chord scanning for Standard MIDI Files (SMF) can be disabled

Looks like some of the groups SPECIFIC requests are being addressed. Obviously there are more on "our" list to go - but this is a move in the right direction...

I have the same worries, too!!! Also, no mention to Songbook editor which is critical!!!
It's not the first time! KORG did it many times in the past.

Not since I bought my first Korg Arranger back in 2008. This could very well be the first time making such announcement under pressure....and so many months ahead of its release date! This IS the first time.
