Does anyone use Playground Sessions?

I use Playground Sessions (PS) as an online piano/music teacher. I have used it before with various Yamaha and Kurzweil keyboards with no problems.
The Korg connection to the PS app is causing issues as keyboard note presses are not captured correctly causing the app to see the notes as early or late. The app designers suggest that some midi settings may be the problem and I have tried some of their suggestions and am waiting their response to my concern.
Just wondered if anyone else uses this app and has found a solution?


Just found that the Korg USB driver for Mac is not suitable for use with Mac Ventura - wonder whether an updated USB driver will solve the problem when available??

Hi Dave, tried it years ago. You didn’t mention what you were running it on.
Are you using the same settings on your Korg as you did on your Yamaha?

After getting advice from the app developer, Korg support and Bonners Music, I have resolved the issue by creating a midi preset which switches off all output channel except channel one. I’ve also unticked local control.
The issue was created because the app was seeing duplicates of each note press.

Hi Dave,
glad you got it sorted. Thought it might be your midi settings. I’ve had to do something similar with my Chord player software , literally turn off all the midi channels except for one.
