Volume Sliders Issue

Post by mlavio829 »

Hello,

Has anyone had any issues with their physical volume sliders not activating/changing the volume of the sound?

For example, in order to turn the Drums volume louder or quieter, I have to bring the physical sliders all of the way up and down several times before it activates to increase or decrease the volume.

Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks
Michael

that is because your controller setting is set to catch in your pa5x, which means that they don't do anything unless you hit the current value.

Here is how to change it.

- press the settings button
- press the menu button
- press the controllers tile on your screen
- in the hand tab you see a section called slider and pedal
- select Jump in that section

now the faders will react immediately.

"Catch" is something I wanted in the Korg arrangers for a long time - my wish-list item almost came true... as at last Korg has almost caught up with Roland - only thing missing is the LED slider level strips, then the "catch" option makes the most sense. (Like Jupiter-80, Fantom etc...) - a bit too late for the PA5x as this would mean a hardware change... maybe PA6x???
At least the unwanted slider jumps are now controllable.

I would love to buy the new keyboard but,,,
when they get the PA5 fixed with all the updates
..
one week later the PA6 will be out..

Everyone says korg has the best keyboard sampler on the market and the best of everything which might be true ,,but again it's always, three or four later years later until they get it to work right...

korg can make all of the EK-50 keyboard fast and new update for it fast for EK keyboard ...

Maybe cord is over in over their head trying to keep up with the Yamaha..

Maybe korg should change there name.
to

keyboards bye ..

all details and dates are subject to change without notice whatever we get around to it.

It's like the wife who gets beat up by her husband everyday and she still says but he loves me so I'll go back to be abused more.
So if you make it work as good as the PA 4 I'll come back to be abused more.

just saying my opinion that's all.
So what's next now korg..
