I think it did, quite a reaction looking at all the removed posts throughout the forum and not the first time...oh well, no hard feelings, at least not from me.

Great, now we are going to have less clutter and real discussion about the burning topic at hand.

Honestly, I was tired of watching Nonsense graphics, and then justification of why they were posted to begin with.

I’m not expecting anything huge from Korg,
Simply because of the limitations in the PA5x technically circumstances.

For me who started with pa80 1x 2x 3x 4x in so many years, the 5 is not the huge wooooow thing.
It’s better eq better fx and Ram.
Some great futures yes, but all this stuff should be in the 4 x as an update.

If you look at other kb manufacturing companies, there is better things on them and the price range is far better.

About the OS,
I’m very uncomfortable with the fact, of,
Still not finished properly in 3x 4x pa1000!
So why would they do anything differently now I ask my self.

I don’t think this will ever be forgotten in the history of pa series from Korg.
Even the nautilus had and has problems.

What can change how i feel,

Not much since I don’t think they understand a keyboardist, or musician.
They don’t use the end user in a good way to create a relationship with the people who uses it.
No info no contact no nothing.
If we ask anything, it’s like a huge bad thing.
Many feel like they have no understanding of their kb.

Do we need 2 players at the same time?
Yes it’s a great feature, but since we just have 160 polyphony it’s not so well planned.

Better if we had 2 more STS 3 more sounds like upper 123,4 and 5!
More of the things we use often!
We will always have drop outs if we use 2 players in one song and than ad a huge piano sound that needs polyphony.

Is there any good sequencer in it, NO.
Do we need it even in this times of Daw s and free ware of the pc sequencers.
YES.

Is a Wi-Fi needed on a kb?
YES
In this matter of time, it’s a great thing.

Do we need Bluetooth on a kb?
YES why not?
You can connect things to it and save time when moving around your files as styles samples etc play song files from YouTube etc.

Do we necessarily need a sound editing software for samples and more?
YES
Creativity is something that needs tools ⚒️.And we don’t have them YET!

Can a style creator on pc be better than the one in the kb that even misses features like undo redo and more?

So I’m not sure how and in what direction korg is on there way,
But for many of us it seems like we will change the track we are on if they don’t do anything about it..

2 players, why not, its very creative if you dig into a little editing, but 160 notes of polyphony, then absolutely, what were they thinking...

My PA5X white board is divided into two sections, Bugs and development improvements...

I struggle to understand this level of incompetence from an established manufacturer...

It is a shame and somewhat unpleasant when a member just deletes posts 🤪 to which there are embedded replies.

If you want to leave, then just simply do so but please respect remaining members.

Apologies to all who had replied to the now-deleted posts in this topic.....

Concur on the connectivity topic. In today's age where WiFi and BT are the norm, it is a shame that we are missing those basic features on such an expensive kb.

I don't know if Korg protected the accessory inputs during their development. If the answer is Yes, then Korg can possibly sell us a BT/WiFi module that can be plugged in by the service tech, and then enable the feature by an OS update. At least that is what we do in our Automotive electronic units.

With such a powerful computer on board the PA5X, a mini DAW would be absolutely fantastic.

Undo and Redo is an absolute must and is NOT an option.

Not so fast on the integrated wifi and bluetooth.

They're great targets for pranksters to really spoil a live musician's day.

On stage, I use nothing with wireless _anything_, and if I want to add an update to something, SD cards and thumbdrives work just fine, thanks.

Giving the PA5 until the next update....

Post by Nikosound »

I have started with pa80, 1x, 4x, 5x... in so many years, the 5x is the biggest dissapointment.
Bought my Pa5x in Juli2022 and to now are almost 15 Months and still are missing basic functions from Pa4x. Just hoping end waiting that will be fixed.
I dont trust anymore at Korg and afetr Genos 2 arriving i will definitly go on Genos 2, if Korg dont give something big with zhe next OS Release.
For 4200Euro Arranger Keyboard (Pa5x 61 International) this is no-go.
Korg Pa5x 61 Int.
Mac Book Pro m1 Max
Apollo x4 & Uad 2 Plugins
PaManager v5
Cubase 13Pro
Halion 6
NI Kontakt 7
SWAM etc.

No, we are lying about it!
There is no
Problems with Os or Korg,
We just hire people to write this,
🫣

All is user fault!
We don’t understand anything,
And we just complain 🥳😎

It’s the new hobby thing.
Pay 5K and have funny forum topics 🤪
