Solo /Mute Timbre in Combi mode

Post by Rpello »

I'm new to Triton Extreme. When in Combi mode that has multiple layered timbres, what is the quickest way to mute timbres or solo a single timbre within the combi while playing live? Pedal? SW1 or SW2?

Also, is it possible to get a metronome click in Combi mode?

Apologies if this has been asked and answered, i searched but couldn't find it.

Thanks!

Muting timbres in a combi live isn't as straightforward as it should be. If they share the same MIDI channel you could creatively use Insert Effects with gain setting to modify gain with SW1, SW2. You could also assign the gain setting to the Value Slider or Expression Pedal or any other modulation source. See http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=27810

No metronome is available in Combi mode. A workaround would be to add a drum program to a timbre and assign a simple arpeggio pattern with Arpeggiator turned on.
