Storage for expansion packs?

Post by orch94 »

I am a potential buyer of Wavestate Mk2 (if it ever comes out) to pair with my SX900. What is the storage capacity for 3rd party external packs that use samples? For example, will I be able to store onboard like say 5 different packs that come with samples from LFO’s store?

The Wavestate mk II is out and on sale.

There is room for 4GB of user samples.

Check the LFO website FAQ section for info on how to manage multiple packs.

Thanks, will check out that section on the FAQ.

Wavestate Mk2 has not been in stock at my preferred stores Sweetwater and Guitar Center. Maybe they have been selling out there.

LFO’s FAQ seems to be saying the Sample Builder app will manage the samples from their multiple packs so that they are accessible in one place. So on Korg’s Sample Builder download page I see it’s only available in Windows not Mac. Not good. Plus I am reading some users are complaining that the LED lights on the front panel are too bright and only the screen can be dimmed. Will have to rethink if I really want to buy this great sounding little device.
