ES-1 No line out and very quiet and distorted HP out.

Posting this for others who may have seen this problem. Unit was in storage and developed a problem where there was no signal on the line outs and the headphone was very quiet and distorted. Problem was the turn on mute circuit was constantly held high. Q1-Q4 controls muting on the outputs. They seem to be controlled by Q6 (which is just near the Midi thru port) . No doubt the fault is caused by a failed component but without a diagram I stopped looking here. Anyways short out base and emitter on Q6 disabled the muting and everything works fine besides a small click during turn on.
