How to create a favourite library

Post by Stephen R »

Hi,
Apologies for the dumb question. What the work flow to create a new Favourites Library when wanting to comprises from sounds taken from different Sound Libraries?

For example, I downloaded the SV1 sound library into the SV2 - which then becomes the 'Favourites' list. I would like to save some of the these sounds in my master Favourites list. But downloading a new sound library wipes over the existing favourites list.

Confused (And as said probably being dumb). Would appreciate some guidance.

It's entirely possible that I'm missing something but, when in the Backup section of the editor, the Korg SV-2 Editor allows several .sv2 backup files, including the factory supplied files, to be loaded into the editor, where they appear as separate tabs, and the Favourites can then be copied and pasted between them, and the existing Favourites data downloaded from the SV-2, and then transmitted to the SV-2. This may be what you need.
