MP3 recording trim

Post by DaPale »

Hi,

When I use the MP3 recording, I start recording, exit out of the recording screen and start playing. After the end of the song I get into the recording screen and stop the recording.

This results in some seconds between the recording start and the start of the actual recording. Is it possible to trim the MP3 in the Pa5X so when you start playing the MP3 it start directly with the actual recording and not with the few seconds gap?

I guess it is not possible on the PA5X. You will have to take the MP3 file back to the computer and make the necessary edits using some free audio software like "Audacity".

Ok thank you. I hope they will and think will do.

Quick Recording
Q: Will recording tools such as Quick Record be present in upcoming OS releases?
A: Yes. We are working on a new design of the Quick Record engine as part of a future OS release that will take full advantage of the powerful new Pa5X engine. We are targeting this to be available in the next OS update, date TBA.
