Yamah Demonstrator Peter Baartmens R.I.P. 1960-2024
Hello all,
It is very sad to hear this morning of the untimely death of the Dutch Yamaha Demonstrator Peter Baartmens.

I have posted the news on this Thread as most arranger players will be familiar with his demonstrations (Youtube, etc). All who met him have said how warm and friendly he was as a person and how talented he was. Terribly sad for somebody so young.

Is this real ?? I can’t believe it . I have practically grown up listening to Mr Baartman . He inspired me and no doubt thousands of other keyboard enthusiasts all over the world .
What did he die of ?
I am truly shocked . His artistry and musicality along with his showmanship is unmatched . I feel like I’ve lost a friend .
