1. A backing (Quick record) Sequenzer
2. A kind of sequenzer for the Keyboard Set sounds
3. A guitar tuner in the guitar effects
4. A clock vissible on the display
It would be good if the synchro start/stop option was turned off when a midi or mp3 track is selected. There is no need for that option to be active while playing mp3 songs
To be the best and first in competition, Korg should be able to load Yamaha styles (or Yamaha to Korg style conversion) so it can be edited and play straight out from the Pa5X.

Let us request to add more functions rather than deleting existing ones which might be useful to others.

+10.
A clock that is hidden deep in the settings and used only for turning off after inactive period is just a waste. If the time is shown on the home screen somewhere in a top corner like on the phones, it will help the musician keep track of the gig time.
The guitar tuner is an excellent idea. I hope it is implemented, so that it can complement the guitar input.

1) To edit an existing chord - add the ability to just touch on the chord name ( or lead-sheet continuation backslash ( \ ) and have the list-editor scroll to the MIDI CHORD EVENT in question and highlight it in order to change.
2) One should be able to play back the chord progression - having the current chord just played highlighted - then hit stop or PAUSE - and the corresponding MIDI CHORD EVENT scrolled to so we can edit something in the middle of a progression instead of having to stop playback and scroll down to find the chord.
3 ) one shouldn’t have to press that “EDIT" button icon to go into a special mode/page to perform the edit. One should instead just be able to press STOP or PAUSE ( without playback returning to begin position )and then touch the chord or “\” in question - and then be presented with a dialog asking us to either play-in the intended chord or manually type in the correct chord name.

the above - PLUS - a quick RECORD PROGRESSION button on the front panel without having to hit the “CHORD” tab
1) put that RECORD button currently on the CHORD page on the main HOME window somewhere
2) allow us to specify one of the “soft buttons” as RECORD PROGRESSIO
3) Allow us to play back a newly recorded progression and record and/or OVERDUB the RIGHT HAND MIDI date - as used for one or more of the three RH instruments - in order to compose a melody for ones new chord progression.
This would be such a useful “song kernel” idea tool
4) one should also be able to OVERDUB one’s just recorded progression in order to just fix a chord change issue on-the-fly
Maybe this is the beginning of a decent “QUICK RECORD” feature - one which just records and then maybe optionally overdubs chord progression and RIGHT1 RIGHT2 RIGHT3 tracks
in most of the screens there’s an <<exit button on-screen in the top left hand corner but when one enters the SETTINGS page the navigation hierarchy is a bit unclear.
if one is in - say the MIDI page - to get back to the main SETTINGS screen ( showing all nine subscreens, general, preferences etc ) one has to press the SETTINGS button again..
I DO realise there is a row of buttons on the right hand side in each sub page - and this allows one to quickly navigate to a different SETTINGS category but all the same there should - in ALL apps be a way to get back to the page you were in.
There should ALWAYS be away to navigate back to a parent screen from the touch-screen itself.
So when in the MIDI page or any other of the SETTINGS categories - please put something like a "<<back” button in the top left hand corner. Maybe even label this “<<back to SETTINGS”.

Because there is no “selected” LED for the four KEYBOARD SET buttons there are times when one doesn’t know which set is in operation.
For example currently only the MAIN and KEYS tabs show which keyboard set is selected -
There is a blank area up in the top left corner of the HOME screens which - far as I can tell - isn’t being used for anything so far. Maybe the number and name of the currently selected KEYBOARD SET could be placed there.
To be honest it would be useful if ALL four set names were shown at all times as well as an indicator of the selected set somehow- at all times -
the bar at the very top of HOME seems to have some free real-estate not being used - so maybe in SETTINGS there could be an option to show this info at all times - in ALL HOME tabs. Say:
