Just a wish. Time will tell.
We can suppose that development of v2.0 will take muuuch longer.

I don't believe in fairy tales. If it were true you would work at Korg, and if that were true Korg would have put it in a press release

Does anyone read pdf files? I mean this file from the archive with the new OS. (Pa5X OS Update and Reset (EFGISC).pdf), page 1,Introduction, first image from the right:

Press [ GLOBAL ] for a further calibration for the touch screen.

A small screen error?.., or will you have this option in the future like in the previous PA series arrangers?
It would be welcome.

I know this probably seems like small consolation to anyone upset about the current state of affairs re the PA5X's OS. But when I acquired my PA5X this spring, I was strongly debating between it and a Yamaha Montage M. I was seeking a keyboard with workstation functionality that could also serve as a MIDI controller for a variety of computer-based VSTs. I chose the PA5X based on the view that it offered workstation-like functionality and reasonably capable MIDI controller capability with the added bonus of strong arranger features. Since my purchase, I've been keeping pretty up to date on the various comments expressed on this forum about the PA5X's deficiencies (relative to its predecessors). And I must admit that I was beginning to feel quite a bit of buyer's remorse. But out of curiosity, I recently spent some time perusing various Yamaha user forums and YouTube videos concerning the Montage M. Lo and behold, I found that there has been a fair amount of disappointment and complaints registered about the new Montage's operating system, in particular that it's MIDI controller functions appear to be a step back from the previous Montage/MODX in certain key areas (see Kier Darby's YouTube channel if anyone is interested). My only point is that these growing pains associated with the PA5X - which hopefully will mostly be resolved in the not-too-distant future - are not at all unique to it. So in my case at least, I'm content to enjoy my PA5X while I wait for more updates to appear in the (again hopefully) not too distant future. Given that this is the PA5X's third update in less than a year, I've got my fingers crossed that the Korg development team has no plans to discontinue further improvements.
