some of the tac switches no longer respond, do i need to open it up , I'm thinking to spray de-oxit.
The korg has seen very little use the past 3 yrs as I had other things going on.
prog, combi, seq , all those in that group are duds except the global switch is fine although it takes more pressure than it should.
Will deoxit work?

Re: dead switches
Deoxit works on OASYS switches (I revived about 6 of them), but I have not tried with Kronos. So far, I haven't had a switch go dead, and I've used it a lot. Curious to see if you get any answers about this.

Re: dead switches
I do not recommend spraying DeOxit into it. First, the tac switch is covered by the button. Little to no DeOxit will make it into the switch. Also, using more pressure to make it work will stress the button and can break it.
In my experience, replacing the switches is the answer. It's a pain but worth it in the long run.
