Prophecy Global Tune Sysex Message

Post by Z1Muso »

Hi there. Does anyone know the sysex message to send to the Prophecy to change the Global Tuning parameter to 440.0 hz. Thanks for any help. Z1 Muso.

It appears that the Prophecy does not allow the Global parameters to be sent individually. They have to be sent as a sysex package. In my case the sysex message is 663 bytes long. The best thing to do is setup the global parameters as you wish and then do a sysex dump from the Prophecy hardware to a program like SendSX or Midi-OX. That way the parameters can be saved as a syx file.

In my previous post I said "It appears that the Prophecy does not allow the Global parameters to be sent individually. They have to be sent as a sysex package". This was incorrect. Each Global parameter can be sent individually by using single parameter changes. To change the Master Tune to 440.0 hz send the following sysex string:

F0 42 30 41 41 00 01 00 00 00 F7
