Problem report - PA5x OS1.4.0 (NO WISH-LISTS!!!!)

In new 1.4, on screen mixer tab and inside menu also, mute tabs (M) are larger than solo (S). Its pretty hard sometimes to press solo, hitting mute instead.

Here is serious bug that previous OS didn't have. In styles, if you have some track like harmony that is hold during entire elements, like strings or something, it cut while changing variations or fills, on any element if the style element is on cue mode next measure, current measure. I find it on my user styles and internal also, so get things clear, I made new style on this OS 1.4 and created simple tracks to test it, and same bug is there. Just take some string sound and hold it trough entire measure of style element, record it on two diferent variations, and it cut it when change variatons in between measures.

I'm quite satisfied with the 1.4 update, but there are a few things that are still missing.
1. The syncro start feature, which has been changed (syncro automatically disabling after starting a style), doesn't yet work like it does on Yamaha keyboards and other brands! Once a style is started, it should be able to stop each time the "Syncro" button is pressed again and restart when a chord is entered. And (very importantly), syncro start should only be disabled after pressing one of the "1-3 Ending" buttons or the "Stop" button.
It would be best if the "Rewind" button (which has no function in Style Play mode) were used in Style Play mode (linked to the Syncro start button) for easier access!
2. The icons for the style and keyboard sets can be customized, but not for the User Sounds!

Restored to the factory and updated OS 1.4. Try to edit a style by adding additional instrument in empty tracks (Acc3 & 5). Tested all the Vars and it sounds as expected. When exit the style edit mode, play back the style and something wrong happened: The Drum track sounds different just like the note in the Drum track (snare) are changed to a different note (Cow bell) every time I change to another Variation.

I then went back to the style edit mode to check it, the Drum track sounds normal. I don't know why?

2. Yes it works in Users Area of whatever custom folder , customization do not work at external Media KST folders

However, I don't think what you're saying is correct, and yes, I've read the enclosed v1.40 upgrade manual!
1- Regarding Syncro start/stop, there's only an on/off option in Settings/Preferences: Syncro Start-Auto Off.
The only option is via Velocity Control with the "Start/Stop" function, which is certainly not convenient when playing with both hands and then experiencing unexpected stops! Unless you're more perceptive than I am, please explain! PS: If you've played a Yamaha Tyros/Genos, Ketron, Roland, Wersi, etc., you should know what I mean.
2- For Styles, Pads, Keyboard Sets, and Chord Sequences, it's possible to move and change the icons, but not for User Sounds! PS: User Sounds are not external.

Flaws in existing Pa5X features after OS v.1.4

- There is a bug that still insists since OS v.1.3 , In Style Edit , after some tracks recording and editing if you go back
to Element Track Controls , elements Intro/Var/Fill/End tabs do not respond , stay stucked at latest one that you're working with.
You have to save Style , exit and re-enter Style Edit due to continue editing with elements in Element Track Controls menu.

- Important Chord Recognition flaw , 11th (major) chord is not recognized at all in major scale as in all arrangers ,
C11/CM11 & C (add 11) are totally out of picture and this is unacceptable for advanced Musicians !
Minor scale Cm11 and relative are working fine though.

- In REC/EDIT / Style Edit , when you delete All (and Any event ) , empty measures still exist so element is active and empty.
The only way to completely delete an existing Fill/Intro/Ending is to select any active track in all CV and press Delete
current Chord Variation !
A button should exist to delete the whole element in Style Edit interface !

- In REC/EDIT Pad Edit , direct access to Pad Banks is still missing , "Select Pad to Edit" screen tab should be active pointing
to PAD Banks in order to select of what PAD to edit regardless of Style's Pads !

- In REC/EDIT/Sample Edit/multisample , when entering in Edit Sample , there is no "back" button to return in multisample.

- New recording Studio needs a basic improvement due to meet the features of simple missing Quick Recording , Styles and
KBD Sets must have the ability to change in Real time when recording or edit ...


For all the rest mentioned by users as bugs , I can replicate none using factory resources or custom resources that were
exclusively created in Pa5X.
Users that want to confirm flaws , make a factory restore in OS v.1.4 load nothing and use factory resources to replicate them.

Hi! While editing MID in the new OS 1.4.0, I encountered an issue with insert and send effects. I copied the factory style to the USER folder, but when I change the timbre on a track with an insert effect, that effect gets deleted. The same happens with the limiter and the three other effects on the sends. Is this bug occurring only for me in OS 1.4.0?

The "Fixed - No Transpose" NTT Type-Table Jumps up an octave when negative (-1,-2, etc.) master transposition.

From 1.3.1 is a big improvement on this function, but not totally fixed.
If i have a track with fixed-no transpose NTT Type-Table set, now is playing what is supposed to play, no matter which first chord is triggered (instead of 1.3.1)
But when master transposition comes intro play, there is a problem. If i set +1 semitone, all fixed-no transpose tracks are playing correctly. But if i go downward, -1 on master transpose while playing, they are all playing -1 semitones, but in a +1 octave. Like instead of -1, it's a +11 transposition of tracks that are set fixed-no transpose.
I checked the range, the wrap and it's all ok. The problems encountered only on negative transposition.

Today, my colleague and I decided to perform the same action on our instruments, consisting of changing the settings of the global microphone preset in order to check whether these settings would be saved and loaded after restarting the instrument. On my colleague’s instrument, the change was saved and correctly recalled upon restart; on mine, it was not.

Another words. He couldn't have recreated a bug.

I made custom setting for the mic (like desser on, compressor on with some values changed) and restarted the machine and it loads the custom setting. No issues. Could you please elaborate the steps you did to save and restore the settings.

I made custom mic preset delay and reverberation. Save it as a custom preset and put it as general setting. But after restart keyboard it's not loading. I have to go mic setting and choosing my custom preset. This is very annoying.
