Yes, this is a known issue and is fully caused by the SOLO-TRI based on the (latest) Version I guess.
I have repaired a couple Trinities and I can also verify that 3 at least is working fine and 10 has the Scale Transpose issue.

Your best luck would be to search on ebay etc for a Solo board with the Version of 3 or 7
or find someone who can dump and restore the IC of the Solo Board for you.

I fully restored my Trintiy, added the Kronos Ribbon and Pitchbend, USB Port and did a couple updates on the internals and some other stuff.
I call it "The New Trinty" and I will somewhen next year make a Service out of it.

The Trinity is a good Synth, but lacks a couple of features and User Interface things.
Like Global Transpose Buttons, Multiple Scale selection without relying on Solo > Edit, Touch Screen upgrade.... etc.

I have more stuff planed, but no time yet due my Freelancing Job as Fullstack Developer.
