Is This Errant EXCL Data ?

Post by icecoldrocker »

Does anyone here have an issue where EXCL messages are recorded on let's say the Drum Track without you entering it and as a consequence this triggers the Drum Track switch which in turn has the Drum Track sound as if it is doubling / oscillating. Only then to discover that when opening MIDI Event Edit you find an EXCL data message ?

I also find these sneaky EXCL messages being recorded when switching on SW1 and if these EXCL are not found and removed it causes problems on certain tracks or triggers another track to think it needs to use SW1

Don't believe me ? Well try the Low End bass patch at K100 use it in a track now record a SW1 message on and watch the EXCL entered right before the CC SW1 ON data.

You will only see it in Edit MIDI Event
