Almost not usable this way. I get more and more frustrated to use the Korgforums.
I have to wait minutes before the forums respond to any input.
I hope something can be done to fix this. I have no internet problems with any site, except this one.

Agree with you completely. It has been really slow for over 6 months. Many have commented on this issue numerous times, however unfortunately, there has been no improvement. Just wondering why it remains so slow and why it cannot be fixed.

The slowness does bring one advantage. Less spam. The forum sped up this morning, up to its old self, and several spam messages appeared.

less spam, although good, is not a reason to keep the forum pace slow. i think costs have affected our pace.

hi I have found that SOMETIMES if you keep a tab open on an index page its quicker to go that tab then where you want or input something
Re: Korgforums is soooo slooow
Much of what I "know" is from discussions on another site where some members there are/were members here.
Despite what the banner says, the site is not hosted by Korg. Someone looked it up and found the name of the company.
The company that is hosting this site is site5.com.
Speculation:
It was said that Sharp became involved with other projects and gave up running Korg Forums. The lack of replies to PMs sorta bears that out in addition to him not having logged in since January, and Karmathanever having lost much of his Moderator functionality looks like a change at the top. Note that the newest member is someone named "Admin1".
Changing hosting companies shouldn't affect one's capabilities to moderate content.
As such, the suspicion is that Sharp sold the site to a third-party outfit who is running it incognito.
From the other site: "There are a couple of companies that buy up forums and then use them for posting affiliate links etc. They never announce that they have taken over a forum because it can soon alienate members and forum visitors".
The turtle-slow forum navigation has done much to dissuade participation.
