Nautilus (VST) in Cubase

Post by smooveface »

I have Nautilus 73 and am now trying to get it configured to be able to use the Nautilus editor to control the Nautilus and sequence the sounds in the in Cubase.

What I want to understand is:
How to configure Cubase so that I can add the Nautilus as an Instrument and use the editor to select sounds and control is through the editor UI.

I want to be able use the USB for midi AND send audio to the Cubase so I can hear the sounds and record the midi. I want to use my RME Babyface as the output for all devices inputs in Cubase and use the USB inputs from the Nautilus to the midi tracks in Cubase.

I see a video that kinda explains that. But I think this configuration uses the Nautilus USB as the primary and only soundcard. I don't want to do that. I just want to use the USB audio instead of the analog outputs to my DAW, but use my Babyface as my primary soundcard for outputs to my monitors

This video explain it a little, but I get no sound when I follow these steps.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
