I haven't been around here much over the last few years but I thought it was time that I did so I'm wishing everyone here a
Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!
One question that I do have though, is anybody finding this site to be very slow lately?

Re: Merry Christmas
Yes, this site is getting slower than ever. Like...
Depressingly slow.
Sloth climbing down a tree slow.
Continental drift slow.
Sun engulfing Earth in its red giant death phase slow.
Supermassive black hole evaporating via Hawking radiation slow.
Let's hope the Korg Forums get some improvement at least in the loading/speed department. It is kind of sad to see very few come here now and probably this is one of the main causes.
In any case, a sincere Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all too !
Make sure to play your Korg instruments !

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!
It is believed by many (me included) that Sharpe is no longer involved with Korg Forums. He hasn't logged in since January. Except for karma, other Moderators haven't been on in over a year.
People have tried to contact Sharpe to no avail. Moderator karmathanever lost much of his administrative abilities when the site was reworked. The last new member is named "Admin1". Emails to that member also are not responded to.
Basically, the site seems to be on autopilot. The feeling is that Sharpe sold the site to a company that is "managing it" from a distance. If it was being actively managed, inquiries would be responded to by whomever in a timely manner. The laggy speed that the site responds to clicks & commands is a headache to many.
If this site shuts down, there are alternative locations to ask questions & share knowledge. Facebook has multiple Korg groups. Another message board yamahamusicians.com has picked up some slack despite being primarily focused on Yamaha keyboards. Site owner, Saul, has said that he would be willing to expand the Korg forum on his site if conditions warranted.
