*Ensoniq ESQ-1 w/ seq expansion (First board! 1988?)

Yamaha EX5 (so ahead of its time with some deal breaker flaws)
*Kawai K5000s (Cool and unique. Does anyone bother to learn additive? LOL)
*Alesis QSR (Some of the EX5 samples were sooooo bad, SCSI load time for samples in the EX5 was a horrible joke. Bought to supplement)
*Yamaha FS1R(great sounds, impossible interface)
Yamaha Motif (Samples sounded better and seq functioned more as expected, but a TOTAL step backwards from the EX5 tech. PLG cards SUCKED and did not compare IMO)
*Korg 01W/r (I just missed those sounds, just a magical rompler IMO)
*Roland JD-990 w/Vintage Synth card and mem expansion (one of my synth heros used the JD-800 and I bought the hype. It's cool, but has like NO user patch memory)
*Motif XS7 <--- want to replace. Watching NAMM or possibly sampling.getting equivalent samples and going iPad/light controller
*Korg M50 <---selling. When I gigged with it, the light weight was just AWESOME!
*Korg Kronos73
M-Audio Vyper. Was cool, but very limited user patch memory. Sent it back!

*= still have. Tell ya though, if the Kronos got more banks and I could find away to convert those sounds (In some cases sample the hell out of them) I'd dump the racks and the Kawai. I mean they're cool, but kinda specialized that I rarely use.

The reality is I use the Kronos and Kurzweils the V.A.S.T majority of the time, but I’m afraid to sell any of the others because they are so different and I still call on them. I only have a very small room! We’ll see…..

Future …

The Kronos AS (autosampler) - it will automatically sample all my favourite keyboards so I’ll only ever need one board!! Lol!
