this is great ! so we can hope for "piano roll" function to be added in the future .
piano roll has been requested 10,821 times on this forum
:)
nowadays there's a lot of piano roll software solutions , like Cubase, even free versions give more than enough; if they add ASIO support in this new Kronos2 to make everything work together on PC without any third party hardware this will solve the problem from the other side))I hope that "ASIO surprise" stops KORG from hurry up with adding piano roll to Kronos :) . But of course this is strange , is it too hard for developers to pick a piece of KromeOS or M3OS code containing piano roll and adapt it for KronosOS ?

just a wild guess- must be some kind of software tug of war.

obviously it's better to attack the Korg mailboxes and phone operators directly with piano roll requests for Kronos :)

anyway sympathetic resonance feature is a big addition , means that there are possibilities for Kontakt-kind of scripts and other great features such as round-robins , keyswitches etc ))

piano person here. happily looking forward to the upgrade. a few bucks for the Berlin D is nothing to whine about.

I think back 10-15 years ago- scratchy rom compressed samples for piano. Now a catchy retro sound :)

I mean I don't see how sympathetic resonance leads to scripting becoming available. There is already round robin behavior through wave sequencing by the way.

I contacted wikipedia to ask them to remove piano roll from the data base.

Kontakt is just an example, what I would like to be able to do in Kronos .
I have some great piano libraries for Kontakt , and some of them use scripts , I just want to reproduce them inside kronos ,
I wish there was a way to apply round robin not just for wave sequences , but for pianos . Kronos have different ways for many usual things I've accustomed to in vst samplers.

Not sure how round robin or random helps a piano but no harm in pushing the envelope on sampling. Kronos is a Komplete killer in my opinion and a welcome chance to be away from the computer but have huge resources.

Steady on with the piano perfection, we'll always have the M1 piano. That one will never die :D

Since I couldn't get a piano roll from Korg, I decided to make a piano sandwich.
