:D First synth I ever owned was a Roland Juno 60 (digital memory storage) and pre-midi. Killer analog sounds. It was a huge fat sounding monster!!!
I am a recovering *Roland* Addict. This is my 3rd week clean.........

Currently own Akai AX-60, Roland S-10, Roland alpha Juno 2, Yamaha DX-7 IIfd, Ensoniq ESQ-1 ver. 3.5, Ensoniq TS-12, Roland XP-80, Roland Fantom X7 and my most recent acquisition....Korg Triton LE 76 w/exb-smpl

I had played a Jupiter, Ensoniq Mirage and an M1. But the very first synth I bought myself was the Wavestation.
It's the only musical regret I've ever had in my life: selling it.
But now with the softsynth, and the Kronos I don't feel too bad

My first was a roland sh1000. I loved it but ended up trading it in for something, I don't remember what now though.
I think my first Korg was a maxi-korg. Really cool synth. duophonic which was really cool, and I remember it was really easy to get that big glideing synth sound in the intro of ELP's hoedown which my band used to do at that time. Plus the name "maxi-korg" was always good for a few tasteless jokes.
If it wasn't the maxi-korg, then it was a korg poly-ensemble P which I also loved. Especially the pipe organ.
All of the above are on the rather lengthy list of "wish I still had" synths, along with my beloved mono/poly. At least I still have one of those! 8) (I used to use two onstage. Haven't been gigging for a few years so my wife convinced me to let her sell one on ebay  )

Korg MS-20. Bought it new in 1982 (how time flies) and I still have it. I also have Legacy with the MS-20 controller, and one in my Kronos. Now I'm thinking of buying the MS-20 mini as well, even though I don't need it, but just for fun :-)
Although, after that many years without any flaws, my original MS-20 is now getting a bit unstable (oscillators), so perhaps buying the MS-20 mini would not only be just for fun after all ;-)
BTW, for years the MS-20 has been my only synth, I learned everything from it. And when I bough other synths like the ARP 2600, Roland 100M, and since about 10 years a Synthesizers.com, I could immediately find my way on them. The MS-20 was and is an excellent learning experience.

The first keyboard I bought was a 49-key $300 Casio that had some pretty nice sounds as well as percussion sounds.

First pro gear shortly thereafter in 1992 was a Roland SC-55 Sound Canvas, quickly followed by a D-70 when I found out that the little Casio Keyboard only supported 4 MIDI channels!

My first synth wasn't a complete synth. It was a PAiA 2700 series VCO and power supply kit. I had to solder it together myself. I had to wait to get a few more modules like the VCF and VCA until I had the money and time to build them. That was 1978-79ish. Although my Mattel electronic football game was the first electronic item I had that used synthesis to make its game sounds. I got that in 1977.

Just got my first about 5 weeks ago. Korg Kronos X61. I always wanted a D-50 but back then could't come close to the funds needed for it, and tried not to think about Moog or any of the other monsters!

Casio MT-45 which was not even a full size key keybed. I then traded a guitar I bought and tried to play for a few months for a Used Korg Poly 61 that I spent more time getting fixed than I did playing.
