And breathe! Haha. I must admit I hate reading manuals but they are damn handy when it boils down to it.......Ted3000 wrote:For some people, it's more like "Oh wow, I guess I'll read the manual before I make my next gear purchase, instead of relying on my fantasies and assumptions."
For others, it's more like "Oh wow, I've been complaining because I can't do something on the electribe, but it says how on page 17."
Either way, pour yourself a tall glass of attention span and read it.
Who am I talking to? No one in this thread, actually. I'm talking to people with post counts of 1 who show up to complain the samples go away after shutdown. They, of course, are not reading this thread - they don't read anything. Which makes this entire post's effectiveness highly suspect.
Off-topic, but really? Things aren't working out there? That's not good, man; I'm sorry..Tarekith wrote:..can't wait to get out of Lux

..and for others, it's just that they might have expected an Electribe 2 to have at least the same basic features all previous (12) electribes had, like decent manual sequencing including copying/moving/transposing note data within patterns, or assignable midi channelsTed3000 wrote:For some people, it's more like "Oh wow, I guess I'll read the manual before I make my next gear purchase, instead of relying on my fantasies and assumptions."

The E2's added some really nice features, but removed a whole lot of features that have been considered "standard implementations" on grooveboxes for the past 25 years now, and that's what irks people who've worked those older boxes to the max.
