Just updated myself. Looks OK so far, just need to have a good run through to be sure.

Thanks, Korg. One thing that has impressed me since purchasing my Kronos in Aug 2014 is how well supported it has been since then! :D

For the first time a had bad experience with my Kronos X, it was blocked (OS blocked), for the moment when it recognize new OS update (3,04) files on USB stick. When I sow alert that new OS update 3.04 recognized I hit OK but after that all OS was blocked. I turn off my Kronos, and delete OS update files on my stick, and copied again (to be sure that all with files is ok). After that I turned on my Kronos and tried OS update again, second time everything was ok without any blocking. I have to say, that it is my first bad experience and first face up, for more then 2. years, with OS blocking. Blocking process was not through updating (through the process of updating everything was ok), but in the moment of reading OS update files. I use same USB stick every time when I want to update OS.
I tried some combies with many timbers (high polyphony request) and all is much better then before (when turning Level Meters off).
Thanks to Korg.

The +48db setting in Options has nothing to do with the volume of the headphone output; rather, it controls the dynamic range of the internal busses prior to the DAC. There's information in the manual and onboard help about what this does - the fact that you can't hear a difference when toggling it is not indicative of a bug.

If your headphone volume is lower, it must be something else.

The AL-1 mono/legato portamento bug fix is a big deal for me. This actually caused some problems in programming setlists/combis for a certain keyboardist friend of mine who plays keyboards with a certain legendary supergroup who just completed an exhaustive tour.

Pedja,

if I understand you correctly, the same thing happened to me.
Also the first time. I selected update system software, it found the files on the USB stick, I pressed ok to install, and the display froze.
I left it for a while to see if there was a delay, but in in the end had to power off the Kronos, and reboot.
It had not even read the files, so no update had started , and it booted fine into 3.03. I then tried the same procedure again, and it updated fine. My only guess, is that there was a bit of lag reading the files on the USB stick, and it caused a wait state error it couldn't handle.
Anyway, all good in the end. I just thought it may have been a unique instance, but may be it is repeatable.

Exactly the same thing happened to me Chris, but you better explained it. I made some mistakes in explanation (but I correct them). Thanks for all your share. I said it too, anyway, all good in the end.
My conclusion is same like yours, that problem was in relation with reading files from USB stick, and this blocked OS. It is same kind of bug, it will be normal to get alert, with cancel option (in situation like this), but I am sure that Korg team will correct this. Thanks Chris again.
