Bumping an old topic ...

What's the latest sitrep with regards to the Kronos on macOS? I'm having many issue with audio on Sierra when the Kronos is plugged in via USB, even if it's not the active audio device. It seems when the Kronos is plugged in, Coreaudio is periodically resetting and taking other audio devices (including my Firewire MOTU) down with it.

The latest Korg compatibility charts for the Kronos list audio support as "under investigation" for all versions of macOS from 10.10 up.

Really not good enough from both Apple and Korg unfortunately. Issues like this remind me why I don't bother with computers in the studio anymore.

@SeedyLee: Everything works just fine in High Sierra.

Apple fixed the USB issue in their end. My Kronos is working just fine with USB audio now.

There was still some weirdness with the Korg USB MIDI driver the last time I played with it, though. Check this thread: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... highlight=

My Kronos 2 has been working fine sending digital audio + MIDI over USB with no issues in macOS 10.13.3, and just recently, in macOS 10.13.4, as well as with Apple Logic Pro X 10.4.1. I own a late-2015 iMac 4GHz Core i7 + 40GB RAM and use a Plugable 10-port USB 2.0 hub with several other synths also plugged in.
