Wow, impressive Daz! Where did you find the structure of KSF files?

I used the information from the back of the Parameter Guide. The only extra bit I had to work out was that the sample data is in a different word order to a wave file, but that was an easy guess given that we already knew that they use Motorola word order for all other WORD and DWORD's from our PCG twiddlings.

Daz.

I've noticed that on the Korg's main website, there is a download section, where you can download certain sound libraries/banks of different types of keyboards.

It would be nice to know which ones have the "simple KSF files that contain uncompressed samples" and/or where to download them from, if they are not located in the download section of Korg's main website.

Do you or anyone else know?

It's a Windows program.

I don't know anything about Yamaha's Tyros, so I can't comment on that.

Daz.

Thanks Joe, I had almost forgotten this handy little tool, thanks for the reminder.

The answer to your PM is yes by the way ;-) I have retired from this forum.

:-(

That's what I was afraid of! As an apparent newbie by my profile I might not the best placed to credibly say that but do believe me: you'll be hugely missed here. And I'm not talking about Korg, but the 24,439 registered users. Really.

So no more chance to get a little help for my T2 from you...? Not even just for this very last one tiny bit of time!? ;-)

Hope you'll have tons of fun with your new quest and toys!
Kind regards and thanks for your answer!
