Heck, I wish they would just combine the Kronos and PA4x lines. I put off buying my Kronos for the longest time because I just could not decide between the two and rather then make an expensive mistake, just chose to do nothing. I finally did buy the Kronos, but honestly there are times when I wonder if I would rather have bought the PA4x instead. I did at a Roland BK-7m module to the mix, which seems to do a pretty good job, and is certainly a whole lot less expensive than buying a PA4x too.
I'm just a 1 keyboard guy, so can't see any reason to buy two keyboards. Heck, I can barely handle just 1 keyboard!
Just my opinion, but possibly others have gotten stuck in that limbo as well, and have yet to make a purchase because of it. So would Korg's overall sales be better or worse combining both lines into a kickass single keyboard? Beats me, but are these highend keyboard sales really taking the world by storm as is? Seems to me this is a very small marketing niche for all players involved. There are no music stores close to me that have EVER had a high end keyboard sitting on the shelf for me to look at.
And wouldn't their expenses be reduced by only having one assembly line covering a convergence of both types of keyboards into one? I think something like synergy would kick in, providing a keyboard that would be better than the sum of both parts. Heck, if they offered such a beast right now, I would sell my Kronos and buy one in a heart beat.
Seriously what else can either line provide separately besides just more of the same than they are already providing? Certainly technology can handle the challenge, so perhaps marketing is finally coming around too.
Anyway, IMHO, and wishful thinking.

The closest that I'm aware of to that would be something like Casio's MZ-X line. It has a MIDI sequencing function in addition to an arranger-like function as well, and you can create your own sets.
If I didn't already have an XW-P1 I'd be all over that like white on rice.

Based on the Korg guy's comments, I keep thinking of an analog "workstation" that would have an analog, TR-08 style drum machine and then synth(s) for bass/leads/etc.. More like a fully analog Electribe. Maybe with a keyboard. I listened to the podcast but don't recall if he called it a new keyboard or just a new product.
Someone suggested Prologue as a name.
Keep searching this database for Korg trademarks:

is there any way to narrow down the actual audio ?
I prefer to hear the actual source
Thanks
I gave the link to the podcast and the time to fast forward to. The guy giving the hint is John McCubbery VP of KORG Inc.

Not finding the episode on their very busy splash page.
Other results are twitter which is a painful site, IMO.

I would bet on poly 8 voice Analog synth. Korg has contributed much in Analog renaissance but still is out of poly Analog market....dsi and beringher had shown there is momentum

The podcast download size is over 90MB, so may take a while for it all to be saved to disk before it starts to play; there doesn't appear to be any caching, on Windoze PCs, at least.

I had the same issue, but it loaded on my iPhone just fine. It's an Apple/iTunes problem.

NP man:) It did that to me too if you try to stream it, if you clicked "view in itunes" on the link to listen....click the library or unplayed tabs in itunes podcasts, by then you probably have downloaded it if you waited long enough(don't even try to stream it, just download it into itunes).
