These Korg Shop server issues are ridiculous. No way to complain to them about it that I can find.

I have to agree, its totally unworkable and
totally unacceptable.
None of us who own the KLC should have
to bother with this..or pay AGAIN for what
we already own. There should be ONE coupon
code for migrating the KLC to id.korg. Not
two for every synth in the collection.
Hope Dan at Korg reads this because this
is really a mess.

Teething issues aside, it's fantastic to see this product not only be supported but to develop into a new more mature format.
I am eagerly awaiting the O1W/FD being added at some juncture.
With Roland having just added the JV1080 to their Sound Cloud - we should have a healthy development period ahead for both.
if Yamaha would just joint the party it would be ideal - with FM, AFM, RCM, FDSP, VL and AN technologies just siting there unexploited, the surely have an equally compelling potential line up of plugins.

All seems to be fixed now

Yes, everything went smoothly for me, no longer a bundle migration plus all the different components listed as well, just one coupon for one bundle.
I sincerely hope that KORG will continue to expand this new collection.

Finally worked for me as well today. Merry Christmas, Korg!

Seeing how Derek managed to finally get it to work I set out to try again.
Only now I can't even see the page with the Coupon code etc
If anyone has a link to that I would appreciate if you can post it.

Yep, still a mess. I was able to
a) copy the migration code for the
MS-20, b) use that to register at id.korg.com
Then I went to Korg Shop, pasted in the
migration code for the MS-20, got the MS20
page and applied the coupon code, successfully
applied it so my price was 0.00 dollars,
chose “Checkout” and got this message:
“Checkout cannot be completed with a balance
of zero”. Huh?
Still not sure if I am now registered with my
full KLC at id.korg. Back to square one.
Would someone please, if they know, post
the EXACT procedure, step-by-step including
which exact code to copy and paste, for
first migrating our KLC bundle to the id.korg
site, and then how exactly we get the Arp
Odyssey for $50.

I presume you're migrating from the full Korg Legacy bundle? If so, you can ignore all the individual synth codes.
To upgrade KLC and purchase the Odyssey in one go ($49.99):
1. Log into your
Korguser.net account
2. Select UPGRADE COUPON
3. Copy the Upgrade Coupon code
4. Click the link below the code (it will take you to the Korg Shop)
5. Click ADD TO CART
6. Paste in the Coupon Code and click APPLY COUPON
7. Proceed to checkout, log into
OR create a new id.korg.com account.
8. Pay your $49.99 and wait for confirmation email for installation code and links to download Odyssey and all updated Legacy synths.
I hope this works for you
The Oddy is great, but maybe the VCO scaling is a tad
TOO analogue.

Hi Guys,
Are these actually new versions of the plugins or the same versions we already have just using a new kong server for authentication?
Also what do you actually get for your 49.99?

Good question.
I already have the ios version of the Odyssey. As well as a VST.
Don't need all this nonsense to register the same stuff in a new server.
BTW I went thru all the steps exactly as described in the previous post to BobTheDog's post above.
That does not work for me.

Well, you get the ARP for 49.99 instead of 69.99...

Hi, Bob
They look identical to my existing legacy cell versions. I migrated to stay registered as it looks like they are finishing korg.user.net.
The one benefit that I gain from it is that the licensing is no longer eLicenser dongle (which my old versions were), but via registration code that you can authenticate on several computers (usual rule that you can only use one at a time). So I can have the Wavestation and M1 on my main studio computer and my gig computer, which means I finally get to use them live (I was never going to unplug the studio dongle and lose it on a gig!).
I've finally completely the convoluted upgrade process and have both working on both computers.

SUPER appreciate the step-by-step.
Sadly, I cannot make it work. I can only get my discounted price down to $99.99 (not $49.99), no matter what code I input.
Honestly, my current KLC is working fine, I have the G-force Oddity, I'm thinking I may just skip this upgrade altogether.

Background
KorgUser net (
www.korguser.net) WAS the location where you could register, download and authorize the Korg Legacy Collection and component products.
Current Situation
Korg is notifying us (confusingly) that KorgUser. net website is going away.
The replacement is the KORG SHOP website and its use of associated KORG IDs.
Unfortunately Korg can not automatically migrate users to the new KORG SHOP;
each user must manually migrate their products.
Two Offers for Existing Korg Legacy Collection Owners
There are two options for people who own the existing Korg Legacy Collection
Option 1 (FREE)
Using the "MIGRATION COUPON" at KorgUser.net, you purchase the "KORG LEGACY COLLECTION BUNDLE".
This KORG SHOP product has the same components as the Korg Legacy Collection:
-- MS-20
-- Polysix
-- Mono/Poly
-- M1
-- Wavestation
-- MDE-X
-- Legacy Cell
Option 2 ($49.99)
Using the "UPGRADE COUPON" at KorgUser.net, you purchase the "KORG Collection - Special Bundle Upgrade for Legacy Bundle"
This KORG SHOP product has the same components as the Korg Legacy Collection PLUS THE ARP ODYSSEY
-- ARP Oddyssey
-- MS-20
-- Polysix
-- Mono/Poly
-- M1
-- Wavestation
-- MDE-X
-- Legacy Cell
The decision for current Korg Legacy Collection Owners is whether or not to pay the $50 for the ARP Odyssey.
All current Korg Legacy Collection Owners should perform one of the two options above.
