Most defiantly a very good feature for the pa4x or more likely its replacement

How about two (2) lower sections instead of just the one (1).

Probably will never happen, but I think having the ability to play WAV files (using the players) would be a good idea.
With huge disk space is there really any need to stick to MP3's? Even at 320kbps.

Miden, yep happy with that. But the old Roland G70 had the two lower voices back in it's day and was very useful. But it is low on the list I am guessing.

Nobody can really hear the difference between wav and
good made mp3 more than 128kB.
For the new Korg I will wish micpreamp with gain auto adjusting - like by some new TC Helicon external processors
...and some electric modern bass drum like in professional modern studio productions... or just like in Kronos

Agree, but it then depends on what you want to do further with the recording....

I'm completely happy with:-
- Sounds - all great
Styles - best available
Control surface - excellent
OS - logical and "performance friendly"
Sorry, probably all listed above but I would love...
- Insert FX x 10
"WAV" file recording
Audio out ports x 8
PC/Mac editor
MIDI Implementation manual
Instrument definition files for the popular sequencers (Logic/Cubase etc...)
Pedal assignments (EC5 etc) saved for individual SONGBOOK entries
Track "Mute" buttons (if there's room!!!!)
Cheers
Pete

On top of some good suggestions being made already...
1) Guitar mode in 'Sequencer mode'
2) Range selector for Playback in Style Record mode, so it won't keep looping from bar 1 each time you want to hear something/anything in bar 16 or whatever!!!

Hello,
Having experienced the Genos and now the PA4X, could I please add my comments to the list.
Firstly, a larger, clearer adjustable touch screen with improved icons.
Improving the sounds. I'm afraid to say that many of the sounds on the 4X are not a patch on the Genos !. E.G. Hawaiin Guitar- poor on the 4X- superb on the Genos. Pedal Steel-poor on 4X - excellent on Genos- and so the list goes on. Even the electric guitars on the 4X are way behind the Genos for sound quality.

Hi Derek - your comments are always welcomed
I think asking for "improved sounds" is way too subjective though and doesn't describe the "changes" needed.
My colleague owns the Genos and PA4X and can't seem to make up his mind about them - in fact it is driving him "musically" mental.
I would like the next PA to have voice behaviour modelling like the Jupiter-80 - example, when pitch-bending a flute, trumpet, oboe the instruments play fast note steps instead of an less realistic "sound bend" (and that is also an option on the Jupiter in case you don't want it!!!) also its brilliant realistic accordion expression (managed by velocity on Jupiter).
(Wish I'd kept my Jupiter-80 but no room for it
)
Kind regards
Pete
