Where can I download professional quality midi files?
I like Van Basco's Midi Search.
http://www.vanbasco.com/midisearch.html
Once you have the midi you can improve the quality a lot by swapping GM instruments for better ones in the Korg (especially guitars and strings) and re-mixing volumes.
If you like 70's Easy Listening Pop (Eagles, Elton John, Bread, America, Air Supply etc.), I have quite a collection and happy to share some. All mine come with lyrics and chord prompts.

Fender Strat Guitar Sound

Post by NativeAngels »

The piano sets great, do you have any good Fender Strat sounds. As used by Hank Marvin.

Minor update January 5, 2019.
Version 4.3 fixes polyphony issue on 2 included EP's where multiple repeated notes could cause note dropouts.
There are no changes to anything else including sound locations remaining the same.

Hola, Reuben.

I'm quite late to the party, but I only got my Pa700 a few months ago. I love this instrument (when it's not intimidating me!) but...always felt the on-board piano was sort of meh.

Not anymore! I installed this piano set and was literally blown away by the difference. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Completely erased some thinking I had been doing about swapping the Pa700 for something else.

Better late to the party then missing it altogether!
I'm glad you are enjoying it.

Thanks Rueben...I used it on a prior Korg, but now I'm going to put it in my PA1000. As I recall, it is excellent.

Sorry I don't have a version that small that is compatible with a pa300.
I do have a soundfont sf2 version at 21mb that you can download from my site
https://sites.google.com/site/soundfonts4u/
It is a single velocity layer version of the Salamander C5 Grand that uses filtering to achieve timbre changes over the velocity range. This version again is not compatible with Pa300 (or any Pa) but the wavs could be extracted using the Polyphone program and re-assembled for Korg if someone has the time for this.
For extra pianos these days I tend to use an iPhone running the bs-16i app and use some of the free pianos from my site that I have compliled for this purpose.
