I lost the Editor due to Win10 updates for quite a while. I just installed the newest DrvTools(115_r38e).exe which was dated Aug 8, 2020. (I did uninstall the previous driver first.)
Anyway I'm happy to report that my Kronos Editor is now working with MIDI over USB.
Cheers,
Larry

I am having a miserable time getting the editor to see my Kronos USB midi port.
I installed tDrvTools(115_r38e. It shows up in Korg MIDI USB Driver utility as
user mode driver 1.15.00.03
Kernel Mode Driver 1.07.00.01
I installed to latest firmware and OS 3.13.
Both cakewalk and Reaper see the midi driver, but neither the editor or Midi-OX do.
Is this the latest version of the drivers?
Also, I have the following devices in Cakewalk:
KRONOS 1 KEYBOARD - for MIDI in
KRONOS 1 SOUND - for MIDI out
Does this sound right? I would expect KORNOS 1 KEYBOARD for both MIDI in and out....

Yes, that's the way it should look.fraserhutch wrote: Also, I have the following devices in Cakewalk:

KRONOS 1 KEYBOARD receives MIDI from the Kronos keyboard.
KRONOS 1 SOUND sends MIDI out to the Kronos.

Thanks for that. Actually, I got it to work late last night, although for the life of me I don't really get why this would work:
I had the USB connection running through a hub. The moment I attached the cable directly to a rear panel port it worked.
And the funny thing? Now it works fine from the hub. It just needed a direct connection the first time. Go figure.
