I think in order to be able to remap samples we have to be able to open the style and then change the tracks in style record mode , is there another way to achieve remapping samples of a style ?

There is no way - not even with kpm - to achieve remapping samples of a style, because as mentioned by korg1 Pa-keyboards doesn’t play raw samples in the style. There are no samples to be remapped in a style, because - as mentioned by Aripearlmusic - a style is using SOUNDS and as mentioned again Sounds and DrumSets of stylefiles are simple binary numbers referring to locations of pcg-data in sound libraries.
Simpliest solution is to select a valid sound (from a sound library) for your style tracks and "Write Current Style" Setting - and of course also is possible in style record mode to select valid sounds for style tracks to be rewritten.
If you are looking for sounds with samples, that does not exist or are not linked to Multisamples/DKs used (as pcg-type) as used for sounds/dk in sound library - that really are no valid sounds for your resources (styles, kbdsets, pads ..) and causes that some of the styles gives an error saying style select fails .

Open the styles that are giving you an issue in the PA manager by double-clicking them make sure the target keyboard is set to pa1000 and look in every part of the beat for an unknown sound and remap those sounds

Would adding a macro to the software that automatically maps from the PA4X’s soundset to the closest 1000 equivalent be possible?
