Bugs : Two songbook entries with the same index number.

I don't know how I managed to do this, but I created two new songbook entries with the same index number. This is normally impossible, because Pa5X automatically increments numbers.
I had to delete the two items and recreate them to get everything back in order.

I think the code needs to be revised.

- They could improve the piano sounds from G6 up. (this sound sounds like the damper pedal is constantly active!
With my previous instruments, these had to be constantly repaired!)

- In the case of an existing Stylus, the CV LENGTH cannot be changed (Only when creating a new one, but it cannot be changed during subsequent editing). (For previous instruments, this could be changed)

Annoyingly, you cannot assign either footswitch one or two as a trigger for "style up/down". One can assign a specific style variation 1-4 trigger but they will not map to the generic up/down to the variation although this function is clearly listed as a valid assignment on the control panel controllers setup. I'm informed this has been confirmed as an OS issue

Anyone experienced this?

If I have a monitor connected via hdmi (and it's on) during start-up, the system crashes (loads progress bar and stops)

Event edit key signature not saved
Song starts in EbMaj then it go to F
I try to set a key signature on 70.01.000 then save song
When i play the song the key signature is not in the score

I sometimes had the same problem.
Now I wait to turn on the monitor until the 5X has fully booted.
The problem has not recurred since then.

- It happens that it freezes and resets itself
-fixed sounds cannot be shifted by an octave or transpose
-he accepts the change of rhythm very,very slowly
- the lover lock does not work properly
- impossibility of sorting foidre, sounds and rhythms as desired, but must by ABCDE

Also to include here with missing Factory Drum Pad Folder... we seem to be missing Synth/Pad Sequences in Factory Pad Folders which are found in Factory Styles and it would seem you can not locate some of the Pads from these Styles in any of the Factory Pad Folders to use freely with other styles etc...

A lot of these i recall from PA4X carried over to PA5X...

I wonder just how many other types of Pad Sequences are missing from the Factry Pad Folders that are hidden in the Factory Styles and should be available to use freely from a Factory Pad Folder as with PA4X ? (Question has been put to korg)

Korg support has been informed again (!)

Encountered a Complete System Freeze after a double press of the BREAK Button to enable a BREAK loop..

This triggered a freezer which included lots of multiple random blips, blops, pinging, pangs, bongs sounds coming from the keyboard with No access or control of the PA5X....

This then required a Total Mains Power Down to reset the keyboard.

Both issue below seem to be intermittent...

(1) Main Screen > Control > Main > Pad >

If you use the jog wheel or the +up and -down buttons by the side of the jog wheel after tapping Pad volume on the screan you can only go up BUT not down... this seams to be only specific to the pad volume using the jog wheel or +up and -dowm buttons.

(2) Also I am finding if you leave the ENSEMBLE screen open for a long period (after using SHIFT Button and ENSEMBLE Button to open KBD ENSEMBLE screen) it will freeze/lock the screen open and pressing the EXIT Button or any other Button will not reverse back to the previous screen this then unfortunately requires a powering down of the whole keyboard to reset it.

Immediately after switching the instrument on, PAD 3 and PAD 4 do not play - they are muted. They begin to play only after the execution of END 1. After that, everything is OK.

USB Over Current detected?! This message occasionally appears every day.
There is only an internal and micro SD card inside. I put inside new class 10 micro SD card, formatted FAT32 with rufus because it was factory formatted exFAT.

Since yesterday it started not turning off. I press power off but it restarts. I unplug the power cord and it fixes itself, but it can come back on after a few power ons and offs fine.

What masters made this synthesizer, this must have corona screwed up their work.

That sounds like a hardware issue with your pa5x, not a software one but we can't be sure as the OS has many bugs so we can only guess.
If it was a 4x , I d say it is 99% a hardware issue for example.
If it was mine i would take it in for a software reinstall just in case.
Mine hasn't done anything strange yet.
