Thanks for posting that mini tutorial, much appreciated.
Fun assigning it to aftertouch as well.
If it's quick and easy for you, I've got a follow up question --
I tried setting the Dulcimer to Mono instead of Poly.
Was hoping to play a flamenco style melody line.
But the envelope retriggers aren't "legato"; you can't play through.
You have to re-trigger every note, using a clunky detached approach.
Is there a way so you can play a line and have the triggering continuous?
Again, if there's a quick solution, it'd be nice to see it.
If not, don't worry about it, I'm happy with the tutorial you already did.

Related question:
I have the original 2-note "Mallet Roll" arpeggio assigned to Global Channel 1 where I have a marimba-like patch on Timbre 1.
I would like to layer that with a flute or pan-pipe patch that will sound an octave higher, and NOT be affected by the Karma arpeggiator. I haven't been able to figure out how to get that to work. In order to layer another timbre on the Kronos keyboard, I have to assign that timbre also to channel 1, where it is getting arpeggiated. I tried assigning that timbre to both GCh1 and Ch1, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Does somebody have a trick to make that happen?

You need to switch the marimba program to channel 2, then change the output channel of the KARMA Module doing the mallet-roll to Channel 2. That way, it receives on channel 1, but "plays" on Channel 2. Then you can layer other programs on channel 1.

Perfect! Worked like a charm. I had to use a different channel, since I have my Studiologic controller on channel 2. Thank you!
Now if I could just find that damned loose screw that I believe is hiding somewhere inside my Kronos like a gremlin. βThereβs a man on the wing of the plane!β
