Yamaha has updated the MIDI Song to Style software from 1.0 to 1.1.0. It now supports the newer generations of Yamaha keyboards. Don't know what else has changed other than that mentioned on their site. Will have to check it out.
You can download it from here. https://europe.yamaha.com/en/support/up ... g_win.html

Hi Qui,
For the newest Yamaha styles, do you usually convert all the chord variations? Or only the main one (Major chords)?
There are additional tracks for other endings and intros (usually Intro1 and Ending1) for Minor chords and for 7th chords.
I understand how how to do it with cubase, but the work for the conversion increases a lot. I need to copy for example the intro 1 (all tracks) and substiture some of them for those additional tracks of the other chord variations. I use the CASMEDIT to see what are the correct tracks that must be copied to the correct channels.
I have converted 9 styles of the Movie soundtracks category from Yamaha and adjusted them a lot and one of them indeed remaped the drumkit, and I the results were quite good for most of them, but as I was in a rush I just removed the extra tracks and the let the intro1/ending1 with the Major chord variation only.
Since I don't use them when I play it is not a problem, but the style become a bit incomplete withouth Minor and 7th Chord variations.
Thank you very much for the tutorial that is very clear and informative!
By the way, the CUBASE is with 50% off for some more days and I bough the Elements version mainly to use for style conversions.

Convert/remove yama mega voices
I've had quite good results with converting Yamaha styles to Pa5X, mainly as a result of postings from Qui and others. One subject which I have yet to deal with is where Yamaha uses Mega Voices within a style. This has been briefly mentioned in other posts, but I would appreciate some detailed steps to remove these extra "squeaks" from individual tracks.
Thanks for all the help so far.

Hi Buzzman, haven’t converted for a while, but I used to find those squeaks used to be very high notes within tracks, so I used to just delete them, sometimes they even had tracks of their own.
Deleting was so simple in XGWorks sequencer.
Think it depended on on which keyboard version the style came from.
The really early styles were far easier to convert. The styles from my old psr1500 were so simple to do, whereas my sx900 , I haven’t bothered.
Might be worth checking out Jorgen’s psr site. There are programs for all sorts of fixes for psr styles, there might be a program that just removes them.
Unfortunately I haven’t got time to check at the moment, just heading out.
best wishes
