No change until Korg make the update right

It is unusual that only handful of people are not having " Any" issues with the keyboard. At least the common bugs should affect everyone right; The Channel 11 insert effect routing issue as an example. Its not a user based problem. Also the songbook issue where the patches wont change within variations in a style after saving the style to song book.
The guys who are not having " Any" issues should explain their workflow to others to learn or to modify out workflow.
Are You using user styles ? User samples ?
How you guys use the style record mode (If you are using it). Has it ever got stuck / frozen when exiting the style record mode ???
Changing from one style to another in the style list page and song mode without stopping the arranger has any issues? Freezing/ Random noises and shut downs?
Please answer, and share one or two of your styles with us to check in our boards. Thanks

I can appreciate that some owners are not experiencing problems - it seems like those having problems like to step outside the "factory" environment and create their own flavours and are live performers.
Unreliability seems to be the major concern for those owners (if you look over the various posts). Performing with unreliable gear is unacceptable. My good friend is having to cancel gigs until he finds a suitable replacement arranger.

Personally, if it was me and I was relying on performance, I would have to go out and buy a Genos to get by with or try to find a PA3x/PA4x.

When you say channel 11 you mean percussion? I use insert FX all the time with no issues on any channels. Songbook isn't supposed to save different sounds for each variation because that gets done in style record as it has always been done. None of my beats ever freeze and I make all of my own sounds from scratch. I won't be sharing any for free because I sell my beats for hundreds of dollars each. Yes if it is a bug it should be affecting everyone but since myself and none of my customers are experiencing any problems since day 1 besides missing features which by now most have been added in with the OS updates I think it's pretty safe to say that the biggest bug will always be the users who don't read and follow instructions.

I am pretty much happy with the 1.3.0 update. Things seem to work without problems for whatever I am working on. I have NOT seen the reboot/freeze/unable to edit samples, etc., issues that most folks are talking about.
I managed to restore my old keyboard sets, styles, waves preset etc., and all of them are working without any issue (touchwood). Maybe I'm just lucky. There are some genuine issues, which need to be addressed, but that's it.

Aripearlmusic : Channel 11 insert effects are not applying if it routes to an assignable output, not the main outs after the 1.3 update. This was working fine with 1.2.1 Please check that
I know patch changes within variations done in the style record mode. the issues is when you add that style to the songbook after doing all recording and changes the patch change won't happen. It happens if I play the style in the style list page. but not when its recalled in the song book. This was not an issue with 1.2.1. It happens with factory styles that uses different patches. If you save that style to the songbook and recalled then the patch change will not occur with the variation change.

It may well be that some users have not followed instructions to get the right results, if that is the case Korg should step up and advise us through the download page extensions on the site. It’s hard to argue with the video’s on Utube but I would be very happy with an explanation from the horses mouth to get things going with 1.3. I just don’t want to be the unlucky one with the others that have a useless keyboard.

I think you are correct. My downloaded package had the loading instructions only in Japanese. But I used the instructions from 1.2.1 and everything seems to be working good. No locking up, freezing, etc. I made a backup and only loaded back that which I wanted. It seems reloading Settings was the big issue. Reloading of my WavesArt Piano didn't go real smooth. I had to readjust the EQ to make it sound the way I like it. Also with my Settings Piano. But no major problems.

Yep same here.However I have to admit Im not gigging with it but have pushed
it everyday and no lockups,crashes etc.
It hard to believe so many different problems even the Pa5x not booting up,crashes as soon as turned on ,mixer freeze,screen freeze etc and yet others
dont experience any of these.
Lets hope 1.3.1 addresses some of the issues

Styles that froze during programming and the keyboard was restarted instead of resetting the DSP or stopping all midi.

Be interesting to know if strange stuff is also happening to keyboards that have had no user data loaded, only the update?

I’m scared to update the PA5X I’m seeing things on utube and mentioned here about I think serious problems with the 1.3 update.

Please Korg (I can’t believe you put this out this way). Please correct with and update to 1,3.1 as I won’t be upgrading until it’s right.

You ask for eyes from the blind. If they could, they would have done it. They had time to whip up a time machine.
Unfortunate for those of us concerned, but that's the way it is.
They deserve to be drowned by a wolf for what they did to us. Go back to 1.2.1. This will last until....unfortunately they don't even know how long.
