Hello Mr. Kovarsky!
Can I please add 2 things to the wishlist?
1. An undo function on the software. Soundiver offers this, so if you go a bit crazy with your tweaking and ruin your timbre, you can go back 4 or 5 steps. A real lifesaver.
2. Some kind of memory buffer so if I am working and I accidently turn the data wheel in program mode and move to another program, I can go back to the one I was working on and have my edits in tact?
Many thanks

As with Chordial and others, use the extra screen space in program write to show us the name of the destination patch. Essential. Please!
Kudos to the developers. Overall a very well implemented piece of code.
Timbre Solo Function for live performance

I've been using my Radias for live performance--I create programs with stackable sounds that incrimentally fatten/fill out by adding/subtracting timbres. I am constantly missing timbre switching because I have to press two buttons to solo/unsolo timbres. I would appreciate a live mode that allows a one press timbre solo/unsolo, rather than the default timbre select.

Hi fierlion,
i got the same probs and solved them this way:
F.e. we want a split sound most of the time but for solo a different sound over all the keyboard. I assume that global midi ch. is = 1.
1) timbre 1, midi ch. 1, highest key h3, piano sound
2) timbre 2, midi ch. 1, lowest key c4, string sound
3) timbre 3, midi ch. 2, solo sound
Now by pressing the timbre 3 button you switch to solo, by pressing timbre 1 or 2 button back to split sound.
Ciao, Dirk.
Sound Editor -- WISH LIST

Hey Gang:
Didn't want to start a whole new thread for this. I have heard many of you rave about Sound Editor.
So, I loaded it up tonight -- cool enough but I found it real unusable because I was looking for 16 button/keys to play to audition while I was at the computer. Sure, I have the R-keyboard and if there is a controler it is on the other side of the room.
I "WISH" that KORG would add the 16 keys to the editor.

i want:
- vst integration in sequencer software (e.g. ableton live). like the virus ti has it. this is such a useful function and it's really a big advantage for producing. you just put the vst-radias in the midi track, program your sound, record midi, ... record the audio.
after that you can put a new vst-radias in a new midi-track, program a new sound, ..... record the audio. and so on.
so you would be able to switch through the midi tracks and the radias has automaticly the right sound loaded. this would make the producing so much easier. i am really thinking about to sell the radias and buy a virus, and this function of the virus is an important aspect for making the decision - problably this will make the decision...
(and i think i am not alone with this wish...)
- more flexibilty in the sound editor. it would be nice to be able to drag and drop timbres from one sound to the other sound. (correct me if this is possible in an easy and fast way, like dragging and dropping)
i hope someone of this korg guys is reading this
(but i don't think so...

)
cheers

The Korg guys do read this stuff, but they don't reply to every point 'cos they're too busy making synths
It's definitely read though.

I still can't figure out how to apply filter changes to the whole pattern at the same time.

The ability to upload a .wav or similar for formant data from the librarian would also be a handy feature.

I would like to see a"Polyphonic Aftertouch"path enabled as a midi source....It is so much more musical than Channel Aftertouch....A use it would be awsome on would be the filter levels per note and Pitch......bending one note with pressure instead of all notes.........

Hello RADIAS fans:
Yes, we lurk, read, and do "digest" all you input. But I cannot make any promises or predictions about what Korg might do with the info. But it's great that you bring up all these cool ideas and it DOES help us make better products. So rest assured, we're listening.
Regards,
Jerry

Ok, a simple way is using the master effect as a filter, but it means sacrificing the master effect....

Please Mr & Mr's Korg.
More routings for VPATCH. I can't modulate Effects parameters, even my venerable Trinity could do this.
