Thanks
Very simple. This is the steps that I follow:

1. Pick the styles I want to import to my sets
2. Write the drumkits name that particular style is using
3. Import the drumkits (pa-800 will automatically load all samples associated with the drumkit and will map them for you)
4. Load the styles
5. Edit the style and map the new drumkits (this step is only needed if the drumkits were saved on another location than where it was saved befoe.

I hope this make sense.

Amir yes, it makes sense and it is the way it should be, i dont know how
much you are into it but check a lil better after you do that...and you'll see.
Just load one drum kit, then go check your samples, you'll still have 300 of
them in there...probably you didnt check...

Nadim,

I have successfuly completed my work. There were 3 set's that I had:

Arabic 32mb
Persian 28mb
Turkish 42mb

Obviously I couldn't combine all of the samples and sound since PA-800 has 64mb sample size.

My final set is 57MB and I did check and I only have the samples that I loaded.

I am sorry that you are having a hard time with this keyboard or learning how to use it, but you don't need to bring us down man. I'm loving my final work. It is the set that I've dreamed for ages and it's here, now.

I don't know what to tell you other than it's working.

Nedim..I agree with Amir...I listened to you too,,, I went back, None of the deleted names are there,,They are gone for ever.....go inside the saved set in the user, or Korg,,, open it , then go to sounds, or styles or what ever you want to take out..and delete them, you will never see them again unless you re load them..I hope this helps...I have done it like 3 -4 times already..

DVD for Korg Pa 800

Post by sehasafade12 »

Hello Kaan:

Yes! there is a DVD and if you have a chance just look at Gorilla's post in KorgPa 1XPro of this forum under title NAMM 2007(I think) and you could see that Korg  did come out with Korg Pa 800 Tutorial DVD but just not sure when or how to provide it to its customers. I am waiting for this DVD since I purchased this keyboard, becasue I am very new with Korg Pa. Take care.

Hello Kaan:

Thanks for your respond. Per your post , it looks that you know Nadim. He has been very kind and helpful to me and most of the people on this forum. I think he knows a lot about the Korg Pa system. Per his posts, you could tell that he is very technical and konwledgeable and at the same time very concern and wants to get to the bottom of something. Anyway please take care and be in touch.

Best regards,

Fahim, :D
