Hello folks, this is my first post after two years of lurking,..so I know who you all are. Anyway, there were a few threads running around this topic some time ago, but they never reached a conclusion.
I too have realised that to activate aftertouch on notes no.78 80 & 82, or, if you prefer (I've just discovered that I don't know how to do the sharp sign) F sharp 5, G sharp 5 & A sharp 5, requires excessive amount of pressure
Whilst all black keys on my PA1XPRO need more force than the white keys (pressed the same distance from the fulcrum) the three keys mentioned are particularly obstinate. This doesn't occur with the trinity or triton extreme which I normally use for lead lines
Karmathanever and Kjeld, did you ever discover a solution?
Absolutely wonderful forum, all credit to the stalwarts (and you know who you are) I'll introduce myself more formally later!

It seems that several of us still have this problem - if the problem does not occur in more recently manufactured PA1XPros, then I think we should be entitled to a free fix from Korg (whether still under warranty or not) - there is clearly a design or manufacture fault.
Paolo, can you throw any light on this problem please? Was it a known problem? It has always been frustrating to try and get aftertouch on the black keys - have to press very hard.
Thanks
Pete

Hi, Pete.
I'm glad you picked up on this again, aftertouch is absolutely vital on this product.
When you first raised this topic I'm fairly sure I checked my keyboard and found that, although all black keys required more pressure, the three in question were no worse than the others. This suggests that they may have deteriorated over six months. If this is so how long will it be before it gets worse and/or more keys are affected?
If Korg were/are unaware of the problem and all PA1Xpros were created equal then all could be affected either now or later.
However, if as jerry6681 found, newer ones didn't have the problem and if there had been a design change this implies that the issue had been recognised and dealt with.
Either way I'm with you Pete, this needs fixing.
