I have to find a way of finding or recreating the MONSTER-LIQUID LEAD that
Jordan Rudess uses in DREAM THEATER. There is on PCG but the DOWNLOAD
wont work. I also know this is a 10 LAYERS program but there has to be a
way of recreating it. Anybody can make my life easier instead of recreating
the whole thing?

Nedim, let's make a deal - you send me piece of mp3 with that sound, I'll stop living and start programming until I create that sound, send it to you, and you'll sell me Moss for some small money. :D :D :D

Well, c_hammal, sorry, I just found the link, didn't try it myself, I'm not into all that Karma stuff, not very interested...
But I suggest you make your own combis with desired arppegiator settings, you see no one offered such combis.

Problem is I'm still new with Tritons. I had a Karma before and used some of its combies in some songs which I wish I could use again now on my TE.

I need to find someone who's capable of transforming the Karma combies into TE format one more time as I'm not capable of doing it myself.

Hope to find a way...

Extreme's arpeggiator is capable of doing some beautiful things, but I wouldn't bet he's capable to fully recreate Karma combis, it's somewhat different working with Karma.
But as a nice and very time saving solution I suggest you buy M3 - it has Karma.
So if Karma is so important for your music, that would be your best option.

Re: Saving temporarily created programs

sassonsb wrote:I have a number of unique .wav files stored on a thumb drive which I load when I turn my keyboard on for a gig. I then go through a series of steps to create sample, then multisample and finally into a program. I subsequently include that program in combi and use selected keys to trigger the desired loaded sample. I'm trying to figure out how I can avoid this whole routine everytime I turn my keyboard on. Once I created the program, is there a way I can save the program (with the associated sample/multisample) back onto my thumb drive such that I only need to load the programs when I turn the keyboard on?
I'd very much appreciate any advise.
Thanks.
Stephen
After I have set up my programs I save things off as a .ksc file for all the samples I put into the Triton EX61 (usually only 3-4 programs is all I'm using for a half dozen or so samples via assigning keys to certain samples and saving under one program). Then I just fire up the Triton, find the ksc file I need to load and load it up. In the meantime I've added them to combi's and adjusted the key range and dropped the rest of the key range down an octave so I still have the low end (I use lowest octave for most of my samples sans 1 which is at top key).
