...its ok, MediaStation is also programmed by a Yugoslavian guy,
its a member from the same forum, TROSA.
I was offered to do the job too i rejected the offer, it was offered to
me by a Slovenian guy Zmago Ostersjek, we couldnt come to an
agreement then my coleague Trosa went on.

I had a mediastation for some months, for test it, sorry, the machine hardware is very good, keyboard, display, switch ecc good
the software it's very very bad.. the sounds it's very very bad
when you read the description you can image the future. when you try
for 1 day you understand that there isn't a good sound
for a moment work good only double sequencer for mp3, wav and avi
and not for midi file of course of bad sounds. the arranger have very little possibility programmable, infact there isn't 1 good style to compare pa1x.
The problem is the fount. the giga sound are bad. Sorry, I dream when I look the first time mediastation.. but for a moment it's a game !
only hardare good, don't need qarranger, need complete new sounds and a good software, believe me, and the giga style you listen are then best that has at the moment !!

I am currently using, and I was supplanted my korg pa1xpro

I have the Mediastation keyboard too and I'm the giga sounds developer.
The MS software OS 2.0.6 is really NICE and stable, including the new Vst Host engine.
We have now about 25Gb of new GIGA sounds, about 2000 new GIGA instruments and drumkits.
Sounds now with the Vst Host are enough, dont need more, just look the last Video:

If you are able to use the Cubase sequencer, you can then laso able to
make GIGA styles like our friend Versano, from Israle, he have one Mediastation too.

I would love to hear a couple styles recorded as a mp3 from MS. It doesn't have to be a completed song, just scroll through the variations...

meaning no disrespect, I am not a fan of the latin genre, so if you can maybe use some of the other genres, that would be great..

the keyboard of course is very power , but in 1 answere: is not ready
to live play, expecially for midi player and style player, of course
if you want use for single sounds, patch ecc, or mp3 no problem.
trosa: you told about new giga sounds? how many sounds do you have now 100000 ?. and how many sounds are good and play natural ?
5, 10 , 100 ? I don't think more than 100
is not important have 100000 sounds, but quality sounds, that play good togegher. in the ms there is 1000 drum kit that has no sense, volume, ecc
and the giga sounds only same piano are good, of course long samples, but other sounds ? why you don't make single demo mp3 of principal sounds, like piano, guitar, sax, brass violin ecc ?
how many styles complete working good do you have ? 1, 10 100 ?
how many (non converted) good styles you have we can listen ?
sorry, I don't want to talk bad about the ms, of course is true that the is big power, you don't have polyphony problem, you can load vst, you can play video, you can merge mp3. you have multiple out, you can pitch, stretch ecc, and you can expand as you want.
but at moment, for people that use only styles and midifiles, is impossible to use mediastation. there isn't preset from factory sounds good
and there isn't style preset good, NO ONE !!!
no soong book, no performance preset. who start from zero to buy a MS need 1 year to program it. is the true. maybe a MS hardware with korg software would be the perfect

Hello from Munchen..i'm new here.

well..I just returned back to my shop after 5 days of testing the OASYS 88...you cant believe how many bugs and limitation have this keyboards!
Of course, is a Korg keyboard and when give drastically bugs, nobody will post in internet because we know...with Korg/roland/yamaha we have to accept all!

they continue fix bugs incredible, a lot of basic sequencer features have TON of bugs, you can records with the 16 tracks recorder just some demos, BUT never for make one production song.

I saw in the shop one Mediastation X-76 too, with installed the last OS 2...I was only scared for the power system, VstHost, the B4 VST and onther plugins, ton of GOOD gigasounds ( i think there they have installed a lot of library)
Audio and Midiplayer was really GOOD the audio transpose in Amazing, I have tested the Pax2 too, but will never transpone the audio in the quality like the Lionstracs.

Arranger was really poor, is true, I found about 120 styles but are really not nice programmed like the Korg Pax2.
I was the qranger speficication and IF they really can develope one arranger under the timeline sequencer...i think they will scared the all other brands!

Ardour inside the Mediastation is amazing! this is ONE tools was the Dreaming inside the Korg OASYS....7800 euro, 16 tracks recoder, sampler is just a joke instead of GIGA, no VST support, no network, mouse and external monitor... I'm really Upset for what Korg offer for this price.

I will also waiting untill the Lionstracs complete this new arranger sequencer, because we can record any type of songs inside the 32 patterns...the cost of only 3200 Euro is really interesting! ( cost less than other with complete acessory professional keyboards)

I am having a lot of problems trying to find anyone who has a " MS " and is able to create a mp3 that has styles on it. I am not interested in a song, all I want to hear is the styles and how they sound like.

I am really trying hard to look into this keyboard but I am getting frustrated more and more.

Anyone ?????

What you want to hear first in pa1xpro and then mediastation?

if in ms there are only converted style you never hear some good, maybe with this new qarranger there will be ... in future, wait to found who can create from zero 50 styles good

Just buy this morning the Mediastation X-76 Expanded 64bit in the germany shop, payed only 2850 Euro!
Well, styles there are poor, BUT the sounds quality of the giga sounds library, VstHost and synth are AMAZING!
The two audio/midi player are impressive, the player 2 is routed to the GIGA sampler and some midifiles are sounds incredible.

My old Oasys can never compete with the sounds quality like the Mediastation. I have opened the M51 Galaxy, Realguitar and so on...sound MUCH better that the oasys or to any PAX keyboards.

Tested right now the standard Qtractor sequence....well, I have do admit that we can then make really amazing styles, imported a lot of Loopmasters library, recorder a GIGA bass line, Pianos with Plugins effects... the sounds result is really Impressive!

I will waiting now when they wil release the Qranger....will be really interesting.
They are right..only midi system arranger can never follow the true adui styles.

only 1 question: it's your ms ready to use like pianobar , for live play using style ?. the answere at the moment is always the same: the keyboard is fantastic, has mega power, sounds that korg can only dream, midifile sound superb, the style are in working....

thank's, at momement we can't use ms for live style play.
when it will be ready, please contact me. ok, it has many function that korg, roland , ketron ecc. can dream, but not for live play
sorry, but it's true, the sounds maybe are good but are they miscell toghether good ? how ms software use sounds, and all function that has korg for live play..... no sorry, ms for me (at moment) is only for test. I hope in future that has software like and better of korg. then I will buy it
