Enjoy the MX!You've probably read a few posts about upgrading the tubes and i'll say one thing: DO IT!!!

I only say that because it will affect your overall impression of the MX and possibly the way you use it.It sounds hella better with some decent tubes.

Anyway welcome to the forums :)

hey man , welcome . Glad to hear your looking at getting an mx , and would say that you should get new tubes straight away .
If i knew then what i know now maybe i would'nt hav scrapped so much music cos i felt it was just under par ... give urself the freedom straight away and if u need you can chop n change between both sets of tubes depending on the tone your after  .

Do it bro , get that mx n beef it up

+1000 :D

You will start with the machine sounding like it ought to from the day 1.Like red i wasn't happy with the overall tone of mine, considered selling it,saw his thread about upgrading the tubes, figured it was worth a trying some before parting with the MX,got some new toobs, put them in them in and ob that day my life changed...Not really but the mx sounds fantastic!I'd sooner sell my organs than sell the MX!
