Yes it is already available for download!!!!!! And the updated editor software.

I have the 256MB memory card installed, so I'm excited about using all 3 new sets. How long is it gonna take to load these samples?

If I start incorporating these new samles into everyday patches, I'll be forced to load these each and everytime I boot up.

Possibly: Once the 3 volumes are loaded to the internal memory (including the 256MB expanded memory), will it stay populated during power downs?

Any sign of this making it's way to the Oasys?

Development seems to have gone very quiet on the Oasys front as of late. :(
OASYS never got 2.0 OS, let the time do it ;)

I'm very very happy about this upgrade, just waiting for some anwsers, but very happy!
...the final thing that I'm really missing is a hammond simulation, something like is happening on the Oasys...
For the rest, I'm in synth heaven 8)

Check out the new Voice Name List document :

http://korg.com/service/downloadinfo.asp?DID=1429

The new programs have EX1, EX2 or EX3 in their names so they are easy to spot.

Brass and Woodwinds all load into User-E (Programs and Combis).

I'm totally confused by all this!
From what's been written here, if Sweetwater did in fact update my OS, and load the extra 512 voices, then I should have something besides Init Program/Combi in both banks E?
I don't!

From the way the announcement was written, the materials would be included in the box... not the unit. You may have to load them.

I'd recommend a read of the M3 XP Supplementary manual, it answers quite a few of the questions posted here :

... and many more you haven't thought of yet ;-)

Sample numbers changed?

I'm confused now.....the Korg rep I spoke with this morning said the program locations would change, but not the sample locations.
