Radias or Access TI? Just ONE function is missing?

How about this Idea.......
By a multi input card like the RME and grab a couple of ada8000s and
input 16 tracks at a time....
dont limit yourself to 1 keyboard either......

Well I already have a Scope with 2496 I/O box. My last purchase of hardware was JV-1080 so it really time for hardware upgrade.slammah2012 wrote:How about this Idea.......

My intention is to purchase a hardware that is up to date with latest sound trends, so either Radias and Virus TI seems to be a good choice.
The hardware concept that is closest the thing I need today is, ironically, Novation Supernova. Radias is a step higher when it comes to sound, logically because it is a 10 years between those technologies.
But on other hand, a 10 years old Novation Supernova costs more that brand new Radias...
M1, JV-1080, WaveStationEX, PA1X, MS20, KLC...
...but less than a brand new Virus? Or more? I don't know, but regardless, if you know the Supernova really is the best thing for your needs, it might be worth springing for it. I also own both the Virus TI and the Radias and both have strengths and weaknesses. One big thing to keep in mind with the TI is that there tends to be a lot of audio problems, particularly with clicks and pops in stand alone. It's bad enough for me that I can not use it in multimode at all. Having said that, and while I love the Radias, I find much more interesting sounds can be achieved on the TI and now with multiple wavetables and granular synthesis you can do some very interesting stuff.
Regardless, you'll have fun with either of them. Or just splurge and get both!
