MIDI Questions! Please help me, I'm a Noob!

Okay,

Well I'll most likely be getting a Behringer FCB-1010 MIDI footpedal.

I'd be aiming to start/stop samples, hopefully record samples and change effect

to be clear, there is no way to record without pressing the kp3 at least once.

I've got a FCB-1010 that I use to control my KP3 all the time. I've had some issues but I'm generally happy with their interoperability.

If you end up getting one hit me back with questions -- I may have a few of my own for you eventually
