Like the others I wish you all the best for the future.
Thanks for all your input and answers you have given to us.

The past years have been tough for a lot of companies.
Just remember that as one door closes, another is about to open.

Really sorry to hear Jerry, I'd like to extend my personal thanks for all your valued input on the forum and beyond. You've always been the very friendly and helpful face of the Korg corporation, going beyond your duty to help users on the forum and those in need wherever you could.

I'm sure such a valuable asset wont go unnoticed by other employers for long. In the interim enjoy the time off after all the hard work! :)

Thanks again and the very best of luck. And yes, be sure to stick around!

Wow, I wasn't sure of the rumours, but you have now confirmed your status. You will be sadly missed, I am sure, Jerry. It just won't be the same reading your name. To me, not only did the "K" represent your surname, but Korg as well.

All the best to you and your future, especially in the music industry.

Cheers,
Jim (EJ2)

let's not get crazy here. He's announced he's no longer working for Korg, he didn't announce he's suffering brain damage and making a lot of irrational decisions!

It is a tough time for this kind of news. I am sure your generosity and experience will lead you to another open door. Thank you, for your work and your passion.

Jerry,

I've only seen you in the OASYS section of the forums here, but I'd like to say that out of all of the Korg guys that post here, you've always been the most level-headed, objective and least defensive in my opinion.

There have been some heated OASYS threads here over the years, and you have always contributed to them with grace, class and a true understanding of your customer base.

You're a good man, and good things will surely come your way. Enjoy your time off - you'll be busy again before long!

Jerry so Sad to hear the News

Hello Jerry,

Thank you for being instrumental (!) in bringing the Oasys to the world, and thank you also for your valuable contribution to this community.

Best of wishes to you!

Thanks.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I should now announce that I have bought the Motifator and Roland Clan websites and will be running them as I see fit. So there!!

Curvebender: The OASYS is certainly near and dear to my heart, but I have worked on a large number of Korg releases over the years, not just that one. Even a short list would include:

Z1
SG ProX
Triton family
KAOSS Pad
Original Electribes and MX/SX
Legacy software synths
OASYS PCI
MS-2000
microKORG
CX3
RADIAS
M3/M50
SP-250
SV-1
PS-60

And many others. You love all your children... some stand out more than others, but they all have their stories to tell. Sorry if this seems egotistical, I just wanted to recognize all my "kids".

One question I've always wanted to know.

Did you get a free synth for every one you worked on? So you should have a slew of gear at your place now. :)
